to winning then players or owners...as far as fanaticism to winning...are fans more driven to pound the chest for that. I know players dream of the championship that's for sure, but to them it's more of a job with the championship like your main goal. Fans on the other hand don't really make money on the team (unless the make bets)...they seem to be the major wanters of a ring even if they don't get one.
Kinda funny but fans seem to like to win championships to talk trash to other fans....even if the team actually wins the ring fans take it like they won the ring.....Owners like the win of course by way of ticket sales, jersey sales etc.......
I know that every season starts the same for players...they all want to win the ring...but so few actually do. Do you think if you were a pro player you would be just happy playing the game #1....a ring would just add to the icing.....On the other hand fans can't play the game...they just want to kinda get a championship team and buy a hat, a shirt...etc.....IMO fans may want a championship more than the players playing the game...the players may just be happy to play the game.....?
Just wondering how the fans outlook vs. the players outlook maybe on a different level.......You play it's a job..you watch and it's a dream...type thing....?
