Higbee supposedly had 2nd rd talent but slid because of off the field issues. As we know that is not uncommon.
So the round doesn't really matter as far as expectations, if the player has higher round talent, but was taken lower due to something unrelated to football.
The expectations where there for Higbee, and he has disappointed thus far.

How many 4th round picks over the years were supposed to have 2nd round pre-draft hype? No one has any idea except we do know it;s not just Higbee.
So you take it at face value since it evens out anyway.
4th round picks do not do much.
If the Rams get something out of 2 4th round picks from the same draft, they scored a coup. And I don't even mean just as rookies. (The odds against that are mammoth.)
And Higbee just looks like a lost rookie to me. I am not ruling him out longterm.
