If they can beat Carolina Sunday I can talk myself into the chance they'll end up 8-8. But they've won 43% of their games under Fisher and I think that continues these next 9 (ending 7-9).
No this year is different. As flawed as they are, they have a qb (even if he is a placeholder) and a relatively healthy OL. Last couple of years, they didn't. Nothing can be expected of a team where both qb and the OL are problems because of injuries. Going 7-9 under those conditions is an achievement in its own right.
NOW, that's not why they're losing when they lose. When they lose NOW, it's because the running game is stalled and the defense (partly because of injuries) is inconsistent.
IMO that's a completely different animal than 2013-2015.
