The Rams draft consisted of:
1st round: Jared Goff, QB
4th round: Tyler Higbee, TE
4th round, Pharoh Cooper, WR
6th round, Temarrick Hemingway, TE
6th round: Josh Forest, LB
6th round: Mike Thomas, WR
My questions back to you:
How much do 4th round picks typically contribute as rookies?
What about 6th round picks?
What about rookie WRs in general?
I would love to see Goff play. The rest of the guys: I would love to see them contribute, but I don't think their current status is all that unusual.
All those guys made the team as I recall. The only guys / rookies who have played considerably is Higbee and Forrest. In fact Forrest has played a great deal. Not sure of his impact but he has played.
Mike Thomas has caught a pass or two but nothing to be considered a great contribution in my opinion.
You left of Nelson Spruce and of course Cooper have not contributed.
I don't care what round some kid was drafted in Albany. If he's taking up roster space then he should play. We all had high expectations for Cooper and where the hell is he?
Keep in mind we've had late round picks turn into good players.
DEACON JONES was a very late round pick. Issac Bruce I think was a 4th or 5th round pick.
Grits
Issac Bruce was a 2nd rounder............and didn't do much his rookie year.
