i realize you wernt comparing to other teams...but you should because all teams have those or similar questions or what ifs...no team is free of personnel mistakes.
lol..yes it is hindsight.
while many did feel that it was an error to extend foles, not all agreed with the opinion so the answer is not obvious.
personally i dont recall many people questioning sensenbaugh as much as wanting to keep mcleod. and on a personal note while i liked mcleod, i thought it was and still is the right move to let him go. i dont think safety is an issue.
and yes some did question trading up. i was not one of them. and i think it remains to be seen if it was the correct move or not.
but let me ask you this....was the same person or people pointing out every "mistake"? if so sign them up for GM. there is going to varying opinions on every move. not everyone will agree. for instance, i dont think 2 of your "mistakes" are mistakes.

Without arguing details I agree that some mistakes were made but you seem to imply that the rams make more personnel mistakes then most. I'm not entirely sure that is accurate in terms of the Snead regime. For instance while I wanted jj I thought and still think mccleod was expendable. The mistake IMO was signing the TN corner.
Wasn't comparing the Rams to anyone. Just pointing out that just 3 recent personnel moves are backfiring big time on the Rams this year.
Imagine if we had more defensive depth or offensive weapons. Imagine if Jenkins and Mcleod were still here, and we didn't have to play so much Cover 2. Those are the things that we don't have because of those mistakes.
And is it really hindsight when...
Many here thought that it was a bad idea to extend Foles before he even took a regular season snap in Fisher's offensive scheme.
Many here questioned the move to sign Sensabaugh to a contract close to what Mcleod was getting.
And a few here thought that trading up for a QB would be a mistake for a team that needed players especially on a deep draft.
Those three moves alone were not slam dunk moves and is costing the team this year and possibly next year.
Go Rams!
