I have no problem with them having chosen Trumaine Johnson over Jenkins. They were never going to keep both. No team would. They chose the guy that was more consistent and better overall the past four years.
I've said many times I'd have re-signed McLeod for what Philadelphia gave him. He was worth it in my opinion. That said, it's hard to complain about Alexander's play and if he's not on par with McLeod yet he's getting close.
Sensabaugh was signed as insurance for Gaines and to be their 4th CB. So signing him as a player was OK with me. The years/amount were obviously too high.
My biggest complaint and what may be their worst signing in several years is extending Austin when and how they did. They had picked up his option for 2017 already- at $12M- and could have easily waited
at least this year before deciding on an extension.
The draft do-over is too much hindsight. You can play that game with any draft. I still like Goff, Cooper, Higbee, etc. just fine. It's been 7 games.
