I know myself and others on the board are in the minority on this but I will state it one last time.
Back in the day when teams drafted QB's, they sat for a year. Baseball cap, clip board and plenty of hard work, then after your rookie season you came in ready to compete for the starting job.
If a change needs to be made at QB then MANNION should be the next in line. He should be far more ready than Goff. Two things happen and they are both good for the Rams. We actually get to see what Mannion can do as an actual starting NFL QB. Goff's seat gets a little warmer knowing he's next in line. Heck, could we be so lucky to hit 2 HR's with Mannion and Goff at QB? We'll never know what we have until we do it this way.
The Rams don't need to rush this because they have yet to test Mannion in game action. Let him go in and throw that deep ball and stretch that defense. We might have a diamond in the rough. Give the guy a shot to take this offense over and do what he gets paid to do.
