Just stumbled across this post. Apparently he noticed the same things as I did. In fact, he posted this about 12 hours before my post.
Here's aenas1...
anyone watching tyron smith repeatedly hold, grab, hook and throw defenders to the ground without drawing any flags? one move in particular, where the ot uses a pass rusher's momentum to throw/push the pass rusher to the ground, typically when the pass rusher is bent at the waist, my rough guess is that this move makes up at least a third of grob's holding calls, he loves to do it, and it's clean in my book, tyron has done it at least three times tonight and hasn't been flagged for it once.. ha ha, just as i'm type this, tyron grabbed the defender by the arm and pulled him to the ground, ha ha, one thing is for sure, he's one strong dude....
in other news, are you telling me that carson and dak can look as comfortable as they do, as in charge as they do, but there's worry goff will look/be completely lost out there? good friggin' grief.
There is holding on every single play, what it doesn't mean is just because Smith isn't getting called for it and Robinson is, is that Robinson isn't committing a penalty. They both are. Life isn't fair. Never has been, never will be. This isn't Auburn, this is big boy football and physical talent ain't going to get it done for him. As soon as he figures that out, he can clean it up. But if its going to be some season long pity party again about how unfairly the NFL is treating him, he is cooked.
