It's hard for me to believe in a conspiracy of all refs against GRob...unless we could see that the same ref groups called GRob for more holding than others or something. In fact, that'd be very interesting data for ALL ref groups I would think.
but yeah, I've seen GRob do exactly what you stated above and get called for it.....that's why I think Fisher
supports GRob more than some would like...Fisher sees it too and knows that a "call" could happen on every play practically. I like GRob and his aggressiveness when he blocks and think he has gotten bad calls...but he's also
held too.
I just don't get how this Rams' OL group isn't as good as they were last year. I'm a little confused on that actually.
Did the OL get worse? Have the Rams changed the running schemes?
The OL doesn't seem to be getting that
2nd year rookie boost.
Oh well.
btw -
Goff is a superior passing talent. imo
His problem will be mental until he gets the offense down in game situations. Once Goff knows the offense like he knew Cal's offense...we will be cookin with fire. Goff will throw INTs cuz he's aggressive...in the way I like my QBs to be aggressive when they have the physical talent to pull it off. I think he will have rough patches(Utah 4 INTs)...not unlike CK. Balls are tipped by DL and by WRs and INTs happen due to that...
but when Goff "knows" the offense he'll just react...and do so quite well, I would think.
I might be wrong though!! lol
I really liked Prescott and Wentz coming out....but Goff has something different that stands out and Martz touched on it in the interview he gave where Martz said he'd only seen that type of passing skill and grit/fearlessness in one other QB he's had....Warner.
I see that too.
Also, hasn't Goff been the 2nd stringer for like 4 straight weeks or more now?
