Well, without Palmer he did go 9-3 the FIRST time he won coach of the year. Two coach of the year awards his first 5 years in the league and it's not like he inherited Palmer. He went out and got him and helped turn his career around.
Should we even talk about the 3 straight 10+ win seasons in the toughest division in football?
So much angst for a coach just because he called a sub .500 team 8-8.

2014: 5-6(including playoffs)
That's 14-9(.608) without Palmer at QB.
Obviously you missed the part where I said "when Palmer goes down" not talking about his days in Indy when he had some guy named Andrew Luck at QB.
Like I said, Good QB's make coaches look good, bad ones don't.
