If the plan was for him to start in SF and/or start sooner than later (which to ME meant by game 4 at the latest ... my mistake for misinterpreting Fisher) ... and here we are losing 3 in a row ... and a QB who has thrown more INTs than TDs ... and 3 pick 6s ...
With that said ... I have to believe that either Jared was the wrong pick or the crack coaching staff is clueless. I'm not giving up on Goff one bit ... I feel it's WAY more on the staff than it is on the player. I hope I'm right.

Just curious, when Fisher said Goff would start "sooner than later" ... when did you think he would start?
I think that the 2nd half of the last game was the optimal moment to bring him in ...
not a start ... but a game ... where the loss would not have been his fault .. but if they won, he would be to his credit as a positive rookie effort.
I also think that that bringing him in at that time would have been a positive and uplifting wake up call for the rest of the team step it up a notch .... and perhaps starting the next game could have the same effect and affect.
Nevertheless, when Fisher says: "sooner than you think" ... I hear the words: "the check is in the mail".
