I think Fisher won't play Goff until he feels sure that he gives him a better chance to win than Keenum.
Now think back to the draft...hell think back to the TRADE...
could you EVER in your WILDEST IMAGINATION think of a scenario where it would be week 8 (EIGHT!), the Rams would be 3-4...Keenum would be 8 td's / 10 int's 9with 3 pick 6's!!!) and a 77.5 rating AND OUR #1 OVERALL QB STILL DOESN'T GIVE US A BETTER CHANCE OF WINNING?!?!?!?!?!?
This team makes me sick, from the owner on down...
IMO people misrepresent things (without meaning to) if they fold the stats from the 1st 2 games into analysis of CK.
The entire offense was different, improved, better after the 1st 2 games. If you do the last FIVE games you get a far more accurate picture.
So in the last FIVE games for example the avg. qb rating is 88.6. That's a much more accurate picture.
And, yeah, he was supposed to be a game manager for a team that could run and play consistent defense. When stretched to be more than that he has had some breakdowns.
I personally think they will start Goff when they believe he's ready so I never complain about that. The vast majority of rookie qbs don't help teams win, but then the vast majority of teams starting rookie qbs were doing so because they were rebuilding. They earned their high draft picks. Rams traded up. They're not in the same position as rebuilding teams that assume they won't be winning.
