It's not your hearing, it's your interpretation. If Goff has a 15-year career, sooner is playing him in year 2 verses year 3 or 4. Or maybe it is playing him in game 12 instead of game 16. Whatever you think "sooner" means, it is clearly not soon enough for you.
By the way, I don't think Fisher knows yet when he will play him.
