some know me...I'm good at evaluating talent and had Goff #1 overall. Right now I'm having seconds thoughts based on his personality.
36? wonderlic, attended a top school, fearless in the pocket , would call pass patterns with zero protection. Good pocket awareness and best touch that I've seen since P Manning was at Tenn..
except he looked like a bad udfa in preseason..sociology major at Cal, softest major he could find, and what bothers me the most is his lack of verbal skills...gives a very poor interview. Very short cliche like answers... and can't learn to make adjustments at line of scrimmage if sources are correct...
that all suggest he is slow processing information...there is a huge difference in intelligence and mental processing speed. Don't confuse the two. The game speeds up in the NFL and every microsecond counts. Some minds just take longer to process. Maybe Goff's?
Most hof qb's had the exact same Meyers Briggs score. You want an extrovert, cocky, fast talking fighter pilot type of personality.. Not all winning qb's have that personality but most/many do. Starting watching as many old interviews that I can find of him back at Cal and can't find what I am looking for.....right now I'd still have him a mid 1st rd pick with Wentz and Lynch ahead of him but not #1 overall.
