He was head of sports psychology at Rice University and then went to one of the Texas U's (I forget which now).
His book on confidence called 'The Maverick Mindset' is without doubt the best I have ever read. It's mind-blowingly good and so much fun for any sports enthusiast.
Actually, I say read, I have the audio book, so listened to is more accurate and I'm not even sure there is a printed version as a lot of it is his live talks.
He really dove into baseball and golf, but also including some really super cool lesser known football stories on confidence.
I have read hundreds of books on self development, psychology and more general stuff regarding how the brain works and that is in the top 3 of all of them.
if you don't have it go and get it. If you can't get it (it may now be deleted), message me and I'll get a copy to you!
