You always miss this.
The Rams have been playing with back-up QB's or Sam Bradford (meh) for years, so how the he11 can you judge a HC by that.
So there is the first point. The Rams had had CRAP at QB or at best a good backup in Keenum. And make no mistake he is a good backup. I think we agree on that.
Second.
What the he11 does it have to do with Fisher that Goff maybe needs to be brought along to make the most of his potential.
The last time and ONLY time Fisher had a QB worth an eff was McNair, and he wasn't on the field much his first year, and only a little more the second year. Is that developing a young QB?
I'd take McNair on the bench learning with this team right now. Would you? So those posters who go to the "Fisher doesn't know how to develop a QB" need to look at the actual HISTORY. Because he has done it. And from the tape/opinions/etc Goff is worth developing.
So I'm just not into the whole "Fisher sucks and doesn't know what he is doing and he is an 8-8 coach and doesn't know modern offense and cant figure out what to do with a QB".
Feel free to fall into the reality TV thing and 30 minute pizza thing and declare the whole deal a bust.
Me........I'll just sit still for a moment to see what's what.
And I am still waiting to see if anyone can come up with a HC that has had this kind of sheet at QB and has a winning record.
I'm not holding my breath. But I am calling people out on it. I'll wait.......
