He doesn't get a pass on this ensemble of a roster at all. This group of players are so hit and miss and under perform in the clutch so much of the time it's a reflection of not only the coaches or schemes but an serious failure to evaluate the flaws that are in these players we have on offence which continue to cost us games.
He has as much to with this group being here as anyone.
