Although I am encouraged by the "positive trends" on offense as well Speed, you have to look at the overall (losing) picture of our offense under Fisher. The fact of the matter is that we have been at or near the bottom of the entire league the last few years.
Even if we cherry pick the last 3 games, we are still in the bottom half of the league on offense (17th) so it's hardly a reason to celebrate.
The bottom line is this: We have not made the playoffs yet under Fisher and are in danger of not doing so again largely due to our ineptitude on offense. The "positive trends" are encouraging, but they don't mean squat if we can't consistently put up numbers on O that will keep us competitive and result in us making the playoffs.
I have yet to see that under Fisher's regime. It's getting so bad that ranking 17th is considered a reason to celebrate, while history and yearly rankings tell a different story.
We are asking our offense to play well enough not to lose, hardly a recipe for a playoff contender.
I remember after a game a few years back (against Dallas?) where Haslett said that if you took away their 3 runs for over 50 yds, we held them to less than 3 YPC. This isn't to that level of cherry picking, but I hope you see my point.

BTW, 2 of those "last 3 games" that ZN was touting were losses where CRUCIAL mistakes on O (INT's) were pivotal in the losses.
