If we confine our discussion to '16, X, the Tavon numbers just don't impress.
And this is the first year of his extended contract.
I think using career stats for comparison of current production can be misleading, at least at times.
Well then that would be a 'slump' argument more than anything else.
All I was saying is that *up to this point*, he's been producing touchdowns. Rushing, receiving, special teams. If his contract value is an issue, think of it in terms of paying 3 guys instead of one. A 2nd tier receiver, a backup RB, and a PR/KR. If you spread it out that way, you're not paying him as much anymore.

In the end, I'm with zn on this one. People who try to pigeon-hole him as a receiver, and then use that designation when comparing his contract to other receivers' contracts so they can say he's not worth the coin, are looking at it the wrong way, IMO.
