3-5 makes playoffs 7%
4-4 makes playoffs 33%
5-3 makes playoffs 67%
This makes perfect sense to me. I'e always felt really good about my team at 5-3. That just seemed so much better than a 4-4 record as crazy as it sounds for a one game difference.
Fisher has been 4-3, but couldn't get to 5-3. Can he do it this year?
To me competitive is 5-3. with a 67% shot at making the playoffs.
You are not competitive if you have a 33% shot at the playoffs.
