let me leave it at this - it did come down to having to make a play at the end of the game. We know Fisher games are close to the vest and will be close - there really is no leeway for the QB - make a play, win, don't make the plays at the end lose. I don't know what else to say.
Well, no...first off we DON'T "know" that. If you put up 28 it's not supposed to be a close game. That's a game where if the defense is even partly it's normal self, it's a go-away win.
And in terms of the rest of what you say...they DID win two games when they were behind late with the qb coming through.
So my big questions to you are this.
First why do you act like this is the only game this year where they were down late. They beat Tampa and Arizona under those circumstances.
Second why do you act like a defense without Quinn AND Tru is not part of why they lost. If you score 28 with this defense it's not supposed to be "a close game." It's supposed to be a win. It's NOT supposed to be a shoot-out.
What I got out of this game, again, is that they CAN win even with Tru and Quinn both out...BUT they HAVE TO cut out stupid penalties.
