I agree on that play but if you know me you know this...I never put anything entirely on the qb.
This was supposed to be a team that won with defense with Keenum doing his part as a qb not heralded for his starting skills.
If the Rams put up 28 points with him at qb it's not supposed to get down to overcoming a lead in the final 2 minutes. If it does get down to that, then, the formula is off...the defense is not coming through.
Keenum was the qb for 2 Rams come from behind late wins (on the road no less) but the defense came through both times.
In 2 other come from behind situations they lost. I would say the defense came through better against Buffalo than against Detroit.
What I learned from this game is that if the Rams put up 28 points an injured defense can still win the game for them IF they do not screw up the game with penalties.
