In no particular order here are a few teams that have impressed so far in this young season:
Eagles. Wow! Rookie QB and still 3-1. Plus 64 points scored. An untimely RB fumble away from a perfect 4-0 record. Only one Wentz int through 4 games.
Vikings. Survived the loss of their starting QB and a few starters on OL, yet are 5-0. Are plus 56 on net points. Allowed a league low 63 points through 5 games.
Cowboys. Are 4-1 behind a rookie QB drafted in the middle rounds. Plus 38 in net points.
Raiders. Are 4-1 in tough AFC West, put up 142 points and 17 TD's so far. Tied for 1st place with Broncos.
Broncos. Also 4-1 behind a QB that nobody had ever heard of before.
Patriots. Are 4-1 despite Brady's 4 game suspension while using backup QB and a 3rd stringer at QB. Plus 40 on net points.
Them are outstanding results, huh? Five of those six teams had challenges at the QB position before the season even started.
Terrific QB play from all and with no small credit to their respective HC's and coaching staffs.
Ummmmm...
And then there's the Rams. Hello... is this mic on?
I'm not being too subtle here, am I? Lol.
