Thomas is not bad at NT but I think asking him to play 50 snaps vs. 20 or so is a lot to ask. I would hope Brockers could at least split reps with him this week. He did workout before the Bills game so I would think a week later he could go.

Course, they got gashed early and often in the run game, so I think we can't put it all down to fatigue.

That said, your basic point is surely right: it's not just that injured starters get replaced by lesser players, but also that those lesser players have to play longer. It's a double whammy and, in a way, unfair to those step-up guys.
