I'm disinterested in yards per game. It's not a stat that tells you much of anything. But what sticks out to me about the Rams is so far they are 23rd in both red zone defense and 3rd down conversions. In 2015 they were 2nd and 6th, respectively, in those categories. Improvements need to happen there.

Out of curiosity what happens to the numbers when you subtract the SF game?

They actually changed the defense up after that game. So...if that's true...where do they actually stand?

It would be interesting to compare the 2 sets of numbers...one set with the SF game, one without.

If you do that on offense, for example, there's a clear difference. And the "without SF" numbers look like a more realistic description of what we're actually seeing.
