I've watched it about 10 times from 2 different angles... There is no way anyone is going to make that. All 5 defenders were looking right at it. Just zero deception. The outside guy sees it the entire way. If anything he should have kept running outside and hope to beat the outside guy somehow... Just a horrible decision... one of several. It also appears that the Rams got away with a faskmask that didn't get called.
The only reason I see that there is any hole at all, IMO, is because he is running right. If he waits or goes straight, there's nowhere to go. His only option was to try to beat the outside guy but he chose to turn it in where there was nothing at all. 32 however is wide open if he just lobs the ball to him... surprised that wasn't an option because the outside guy gave up the coverage as soon as he saw Marquez running. It could have worked... but even if it did, it was a poor decision, IMO...
