And if they didn't get a TD. The D was playing great and the bills would be pinned inside the the 5.
And think about it...we're only considering the downside here. Suppose we actually
do score a TD? Now we're talking about the exact same scenario playing out...
except that our offense would likely only be looking to move the ball to the 35-yard line for a potential game-winning FG as opposed to a much harder TD.
The math doesn't add up.
