Agree GRITS.....
Only puzzling thing for me this season is trying to figure out why Gurley and the run game just can't get it going. Man, 2 yards and a cloud of dust. Each week we all think it's going to be #30's breakout game, but at the end of the day it still does not happen. What is up with our run game?
.
easy answer:
The defense puts 8-9 men in the box. Not enough blockers and Gurley almost always has a free Defender or two in his face right away.
Gannon pointed this out yesterday and showed it on the telecaster how often the Rams let a Defender run free to the ball carrier, most of the time from the edge of the line.
As Long as the Rams do not go to the passing game much more often and aggressively we will see more of the same.
The frustrating Thing: ONce again we saw how the Rams WRs can get open . At no Point more visual when Quick got 3 Yards on the cb and could have scored on a 70 Yard TD easily. Can not miss those opportunities in a Close game.
It not only cost 6 Points right there but it proved to the Bills that Keenum is not able to beat them via the Long ball.
Go Rams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
