Then yes play him. I just dont have any confidence in this coaching staff to know if hes ready and is he is get the most out of him
But Keenum did nothing yesterday to prevent the inevitable
This team is so frustrating - The lack of vertical throwing showed up again - It is inexplicable as to why this team refuses to throw the ball into the end zone once they reach the red zone. They lack any kind of aggressiveness. Even as Britt (who played well again yesterday) and Quick have clear height advtages over most DBs.
Max one thing - I think you should prepare yourself for a potential Giants scenario with Eli. Are you ok with the Rams taking a step back?
I have seen things posted here saying that the Rams throw deep a lot. At the top of the league at throwing deep.
If that's true, then why don't they throw it in the end zone?
Are defenses changing once the Rams get close enough to the end zone that cause the Rams to back off because of Keenum's limitations?
The way I see it, if the Rams are indeed at the top of the NFL in deep balls then it's even worse than I thought cause they aren't scoring with that. When your QB is throwing deeper than almost everybody and all he has to show for it is 4 TDs in 5 games then something is very wrong, especially when he has 5 INTs to go with it.
And I am totally prepared for a potential Giants scenario, especially if it ends with 2 SBs wins.
It's like having surgery, it hurts short term but its most likely your best chance to get better long term.
It will be interesting to see how the fans in LA react to the Rams after the bye if the Rams are 3-4. Will they be chanting for Goff? Or will they not care or not show up?
