win or lose the bash fisher crowd continues to complain over every and any "error". its not really worth the time or effort to respond to these posts anymore. im not happy with the loss but is it really necessary to say fire the coach after each loss...and win for that matter? isnt there a more nuanced conversation to have? you post like the "errors" are plainly evident...yet i dont even know exactly what part of the "coaching" you are referring to. im assuming you refer to the fake punt. i guess it was wrong because it didnt work but i didnt have a problem with the call and it hardly cost the game. but when you open the conversation by concluding "horrific coaching" cost the game there really isnt much room for debate. is there? moreover, you insult half the board by saying anyone who disagrees with you is an apologist. whatever dude...try enjoying your day.
At least now (so far anyway) people have dumped that very unuseful mantra, "you are what your record says you are."
Well---no. A record is not an argument. You have to look into the record. Is it a good team falling short, is a mediocre team overachieving, etc. etc. etc. and ad infinitum.
NOW people are saying don't look at the record look at the team, what actually is that team.
That's way better than repeating the "you are what your record says you are" mantra so I am glad people finally dumped that.
