This is about his job...not developing a QB. That can wait for "Gone Fishin".
Actually, I agree with staying with a guy who is part of 3-1. He hasn't been the key...the defense has. But, when you play great Defense, and have a crappy OL, not turning the ball over is huge.
Here's my fear...we hear about the need to protect Goff next year...so instead of finding WR help in the offseason, we use our resources to add more OL.
Keenum up to this point has had pretty damn good pass protection. Especially for as long as he holds on to the football. Our OL is getting a bad rap in this department. I don't think they have played that bad in run blocking either. The scheme, and support blocking on runs TE's(Kendricks), WR's( Tavon, Marquez) has been atrocious. And yes both Marquez and Tavon have been in games and key blockers against 8-9 man boxes....smh
I just don't get it. You hate Grob. He's a bust. You say our Oline sucks. Yet your biggest fear is that we use our resources to add OL to protect our franchise QB an support our 1 pro bowl offensive player RB Todd Gurley? Now I don't agree with your premise. But you can't have it both ways.
