However...
He is a limited QB with a low ceiling..
Do me a favor.
Use PM if you have to if you're shy about naming names.
Name a single poster who "refuses to accept that."
I think this is more of the syndrome I named.
Poster A says, Keenum is a good #2 and you can win with him, he's limited in many respects but compensates in some ways
Poster B goes, he is not a franchise qb why can't you accept his limitations.
Poster A goes, sigh...again.
That happens constantly. It's mostly the Poster B types completely misreading.
Look at the poll I put it. No one stands for the position you think some stand for. It's literally no one. [

...
The context of my post was that settling for Keenum one minute after Goff is deemed ready would be a mistake on Fisher's part, zn.
You're always lecturing us about context, so why ignore it now?
We actually largely agree about Keenum's value, ironically. I cited Keenum's unvarnished '16 stats YTD. No cherry picking of which games or which stats to count.
I do think that you're a bit more enamored with Keenum's '16 production than I am. A slightly better QB would have found it unnecessary to make those comebacks, as an example.
But hey...
Each of us is entitled to our own opinions, right? Right?
