freaking stupid Thursday and Sunday night games are bringing down viewership. The NFL is worried about the lower ratings. Too much saturation.
I know for me I didn't even turn the game on last night after the first quarter and it's very hard to watch Sunday nights`if your team isn't playing after watching all day.
