There was plenty of time and Arizona had all 3 time outs.. After we went totally conservative on all 3 downs, what did we run off the clock? Like 20 seconds? Followed by two back to back personal fouls... So, imo, we were lucky to pull that one out.. Had Carson Palmer been in the game, maybe not as lucky...
..and, yeah, I'm thrilled with the win - don't get me wrong, but I feel both Arizona and Tampa Bay were 1 play away from beating us.. Not sure how long our luck will hold out in those game situations..
The old saying about how the line between winning and losing in the NFL is razor thin is so true.... We could have lost all of those last three games, but it sure is nice to see this team be the ones to actually find a way to win them rather then being the tea that finds a way to lose them.
Although they've been quite exciting , I sure would like to see one of those 52-0 beat downs we put on the Raiders once in awhile ..... Don't know how much more my heart can take!??
