I agree. I am tempted to recycle Old Hacker's favorite old line about a blind hog occasionally finding a nut.
I like Quick - but how many chances has this guy had? He scored 2 TDs - a great (SINGLE GAME) showing.
I truly hope he keeps this going, but I don't feel at all good about him being considered one of this team's primary offensive weapons - or one of our best WRs.
Lots of players have dealt with major injuries that temporarily sidelined them. Gurley anyone?
For all of his natural skills, and body size - he should be so much better at this point. But yes - it was a good game for him, and hopefully just a start.
But remember Jared Cook's first game as a Ram? We were all so excited, right?
Well...that ended with a resounding thud.
Quick has a ways to go to even approach "consistency" - or generate any confident excitement, IMO.
