Now it appears we have a QB who can do enough to win a close game. Now we are getting just enough big plays that a 10-10 game against a good team doesn't turn into a 27-10 final as the defense wilts against the pressure of an offense like the Cards and having to overcome the ineptitude of the Rams own offense.
Keenum is not the franchise QB. That's supposed to Goff but he's better than Hill, Davis, Clemons, and more comfortable in this offense than Foles. So when you have a team that plays defense like the Rams but is last in all major passing categories and has a an oline that is consistently decimated by injuries then it does stand to reason that if the oline stays reasonable healthy and they simply get solid play from the QB that a team can go from 7 wins to 10 wins or more
Let's see how this thing unfolds but it's definitely getting interesting. Keenum is making me forget about that Monday night game
