He is not a great QB.
He is a steady player that can win games if...
1) defense plays well and creates turnovers
2) special teams play well
3) he himself doesn't turn the ball over much
That's ok. It's a formula. However, he will never carry a team. I think most people think of great QB's that win games even when defense and/or special teams aren't great and turnovers occur.
Keemun makes some timely big plays and is not turning the ball over. That is vital when you aren't a top ten 10.
Right now, give him credit. But the key to 3-1 is hands down the defense.
He "the little engine that could" and people love that story.
He is the quintessential game manager. And please, don't get into all QBs are game managers. Everyone knows exactly what a "game " manager@ means. It's not an insult to Keenum - it's ok if you're a good game manager.
