Long term development of course is important but I don't think many anticipated Goff would be so green and not able to transition a bit faster. He's not the 1st QB to play in a college spread offense
Whoever said Goff was more pro-ready than Wentz was simply wrong. if they did say it it's good to see them owning up to being wrong.
Wentz played in a pro-style offense, Goff didn't.
The presumed reason for favoring Goff pre-draft in that respect was because of level of competition. And that argument doesn't make much sense, frankly.
