I live out in the country and currently have very few options for high speed internet. However, a representative from AT&T recently made contact with us about potentially adding a tower on a small piece of our property. After some small talk he said the main purpose of the tower would be to improve/provide high speed internet, with a secondary purpose being improved cell service. Sounded like (my take nothing he/she said directly) that they would also go back to current towers and add the internet radio's/dishes/whatever it is they use.
Not sure what the timeline is but after reading this, you can't help but start connecting the dots.
