...but I think it is a mental thing. Losing teams have a tough time breaking the losing cycle. That is what Koetter was referring to in the TB game last week. I am proud the Rams won, but they have beaten TB five years in a row and maybe TB lacked confidence as they know they lose to the Rams and are "supposed" to beat them.
I am hoping (because they are healthy and on a two game winning streak) they play well and do not implode. ARI will be angry and fired up and the Rams have to match the intensity for the game through the ebbs and flows.
I worry they just get blown out early and think, "Oh well, 2-2 isn't bad...."
I hate to use this obvious example, but NE always plays hard and rarely gets stomped. The mental approach is I guess what I am referring to.
Truth is? We don't know what they're thinking, even in losses. Though just guessing, I seriously doubt any player would be on the field going oh well 2-2 is not bad, I won't put effort in.
