I don't even close to presume the motives of Kroenke,
I base that on his actions and his career. And remember I am a disinterested party...I've lived in both so.Cal and St. L but both were a long time ago. I have no dog in the fight. So I just call them as I see them.
But be even-handed. If you don't like motives statements, say the same thing to people who claim that he moved the team to right a wrong and restore the team to its rightful place (both are things I have seen said frequently). I suggest you're being selective about that kind of thing.
Everything I have seen of him over the years tells me that he has a very narrow range of motives for his actions, and it shows up in how he has acted with all his franchises, not just the Rams. That's what I see. I saw it before the move even came up. Nothing since has changed my mind.
AND you need to accept that I feel that way and am at the same time a diehard Rams fan. No one is going to talk anyone into anything here, and it is clear in each case how everyone feels. This sometimes leads to death match posting wars where some folks actually believe they can win a fight. I am not interested in that.
HOWEVER to me, being pro-team does not require me to be pro-owner. Those who get sensitive to criticism of ownership don't get much from me in return...I think people can just live with criticism of ownership since it's NOT the team. I said the same thing when the Rams moved to St.L and there were those in St.L who just did not want to hear any criticism of Georgia.
So that's my 2 cents. Twice now I have registered that I was not pro-owner (except I am glad both stayed and stay out of the football side of it) and twice now I have said I not only separate the team and ownership, I don;t have much in the way of energy for those who don't. I don't mean to give offense but then it shouldn't BE giving offense to see it like I see it.
