With the opposing defense forced to cover more of the field, I wonder if that wouldn't actually open things up a little for Gurley and Austin. Gurley has missed a few lanes maybe but very few. There simply just isn't much room. And the LOS throws to Austin!!!! I mean TA gets drilled, or should expect to get drilled, the moment his hands touch the ball. So he has to catch it and make a move simultaneously. Securing the ball first doesn't really work because that almost assures a no gain or fumble situation. But what if they could get the ball to him with space? Its a shocking and unheard of concept but alas it appears to be impossible. The best minds have tried and failed... the common denominator? Austin... or Fisher?
