Great kkkkkkkkkkk STORY!!!!
Man, as someone who is pretty much the same age as you I can relate to so much you wrote down there...I have a similar story of meeting Kurt Warner at the team hotel in SF in 1999. Unfortunately camera phones weren't really around back then and I don't have a picture or even an autograph, but I have a memory that will last a lifetime as I got to meet him and shake his hand and just tell him how proud I was of him and what he had done for this long suffering Rams fan in restoring my faith in my beloved Rams.
Seeing those jerseys in that sunshine on that green grass brought back a feeling that is really indescribable...surreal is the only word that even comes close.
Before the game I had to reassure some of my friends that the Rams were going to win this game!!! And even some of you on this board last week.
it was one of the greatest wins I've seen in a long time...one of the ugliest, but one of the greatest none the less....only long time fans like us can appreciate how big that win was.
We had a great little chant that shut that stupid SEA-HAWKS chant up, just yell SUCK!!! in between those lame ass chants.
Nothing better then seeing them all leave with their feathers between their legs after that fumble!!!!
Next time stop by and have a cold one!!!
Great story!!! Thanks for sharing...
Go Rams!!!!
