I'm not so sure the Bills game wasn't penciled in before Goff donned a Ram's cap after being drafted, no matter WHAT happened in preseason.
I know a lot has been said about the Ram's seemingly limited offensive diversity... and always the optimist I have thought this was true - but the 'limit' was set in place due to Keenum's abilities, NOT Goff, or even Mannion. You can easily see where I'm headed -
I don't think Goff or Mannion come in and suddenly it's the all new GSOT... I'm not even sure the pass/run ratio changes, (don't think it will actually), but I do think there is more than a good chance that a far more diverse range of play-calling, to include a far greater stress on the vertical game, is going to occur once the QB change is made, which I think is inevitable. - JamesJM
