you have to count two games this year as well. - JamesJM
Well given that, the range is from 31 points in a game to zero.
What does that tell you? Anything?
I don't put the SF game on the offense, I put it on the defense. This team is not geared yet to come from behind. The defense keeps them in games or they aren't in the games. That's for the time being of course. I don't think that's forever.
But it is true that if you look around, most assessments of CK ONLY measure the last 2 games. Well we know this entire unit can do better. I don't know why there's a slow start this year but I trust last year's strong finish much more. Granted that's my mindset. But then speaking from the "place" of my own mindset, many assessments look to me like they;re too trauma-struck. That is, there are different mindsets on boards. A type I am NOT is the one where what sticks most firmly in the mind is a bad thing. So for example Barnes played well overall, but we all saw one bad play. Reading around the net, I see several people who downgraded his entire game Sunday because that's all they can see in their minds.
I set up last year as a bar to be reached (albeit a lowish one, on offense). My thing is, if they did it once, they can do it again. And, in fact, better.
Most people for example think that about Gurley. No one is saying Gurley has lost it. They know the big runs are coming---that's in his game. They haven't yet but they will come. Well, I am like that with all players, not just Gurley.
