but yeah, I can see why you would read it that way... me too, sort of.
I've already posted all this but to review: I came away from the game very positive, despite no TD's.
A lot of that, if not most, was simply being with good friends live at the game... I admit that. BUT... I don't like what you see on TV that much. As an ex-coach I just don't think you can see much on TV to make complete judgements about what took place...some, sure, but not much. I think B&G's replays he watches you CAN... but I don't see those.
The blocking was better than I expected, but not the best. Keenum had pretty good time.
The receivers DID get open... plays are meant to go short, you can easily see that live, (most plays in the NFL are), and open receivers were not spotted... but I felt a LOT better about our receivers.
I thought the D was good across the board and the DB's the most impressive to me in that I was expecting big problems but actually they seemed to cover well. Certainly a work in progress but absolutely, IMHO, trending up and decidedly so. - JamesJM
