It's pretty simple really...

Wentz played 5 years in a system that is very similar to what he is running in Philly.

Bradford was traded.

Wentz is playing well.

Goff played 3 years in a Cal system and never even had a huddle.

Case was not traded.

Goff is still learning.

All true, Rampage.

But, then again, S&F were perfectly aware of all those college details about both QB's before the draft.

Did they grossly underestimate the Goff learning curve?

Did they grossly underestimate Wentz's readiness and intangibles?

Or did they grossly overestimate their own ability to develop Goff?

Perhaps a little bit of all of the above?

No, I think they were all very aware what Wentz could do and the system he ran in college, yet still thought Goff was the better passer and realized it would take a little longer, but well worth the wait once he got it.

It was the media, not the Rams who tried to have Goff starting day one.

Hard to claim that Goff is the "better passer" just yet, Rampage.

Here are Wentz's stats... [www.espn.com]

3 TDs
94,1 QB rating
Zero interceptions

And I saw a drop by one of his WR's of a long perfectly thrown TD pass.

Moreover, Wentz's maturity extends well beyond his passing stats. He has "it". So many intangibles...

Goff? Well, he has no career stats because he hasn't taken a single snap yet. Only been active for one game.

Behind "zero TD Keenum" on the depth chart. Sheesh!

If I sound like I'm frustrated, it's because I AM. Not with you, of course. With Fisher...

It wasn't just Fish and Co. Who thought Goff was the better QB, he was the consensus #1 rated QB heading into the draft by most draft experts.
I went back and forth on who I wanted, but decided I wasn't going to complain either way. Let's let this thing play out a few years rather then a few games before we declare a winner.

The only shot Goff had with the starters this year(minus Gurley and Tavon) he went 5-6 and a TD...should have went 6-6 but Qucik dropped one.
