I don't think Gurley cares for the schooled media talk that's so typical. During any of the reporter questions he could have fallen on the old cliches like "I'm so blessed to be around these guys", or "proud of how hard we played". No, when asked about his run production, he said he just runs the play the OC calls. When asked about scoring more in the coming games, he just said "I don't know, we'll see." He could have said "We'll get that fixed" or any number of things. I just don't think he believes in this offense. If that's mind reading, so be it, but his body language and his words are closer to the truth than most interviews are. He's being genuine and clearly avoids any sugar coated nonsense.
I think he knows he could be doing better and is frustrated by his own play.
I watched both games twice and he just seems to be locked in on hitting the hole and doesn't seem to be using his great vision that he showed last year. There have been some long runs left on the field because he hasn't seen some cut backs with huge holes in them.... He seems to be pressing instead of just being patient. He started to get it going last week and it was nice to see.
Gurley's great stats came off big runs, he just hasn't had one yet. He will. Gotta feeling he is going to get right this week against Tampa.
