I saw Keenum live last year and it was really tough to watch him play. Its hard to forget how bad he was in that game. It was an away game and the fans around me were having a good chuckle at his expense. He has the final season arm of Peyton Manning without the anticipation or awareness... or height. So when I hear there are trade offers I am not only stunned by the offer but the lack of acceptance... then when I hear fans say 1st rounder or 2nd, or 3rd, etc... I'm just not sure what I am missing.
Not sure about Goff. From what I have seen, he should sit this season at a minimum. And Mannion is 3rd string at best at this point IMO. Given enough playing time I think all of them, Keenum included, will improve. Not sure the Rams have a better choice but to play Keenum while the Rams still have something to play for...
That said, I'd rather see Mannion or Goff because I think both of them need the playing time and will improve faster than Keenum and both have considerably higher ceilings. OMG understatement of the year.
