Are my eyes lying to me?
That team Monday night had no clue about how to move the ball, much less score.
And now in year 5, thankfully, I don't see anyone saying that it's still because Spags left him a bad team.
Everything single thing that this team is right now, is the result of Fisher's plans and decisions.
The coaching staff, the players, the scheme, the preparation. It's all on him.
It's the distillation of everything he's done since he was hired. And it stinks.
You and a few others are welcome to defend it. I guess it's good that we have multiple sides to the conversation.
But I just can't buy it anymore. And I wish I could.
I'm traveling to socal to attend Sunday's game. Believe me, I have no wish to be down on this team right now.
When I made those plans I truly believed that this was a year for the Rams to turn the corner.
I wanted to be there to celebrate that, and to see the Rams inaugurate their return to LA with a victory over the Seahawks.
But the display on Monday night pretty much shot that all to ****. Even if they win Sunday, somehow, I have no confidence that it can ever, ever be consistent with this HC.
